Social Sales Link Senior Vice President of Coaching and Training Bob Woods is no stranger to sales or social media. In his former life as a journalist, Bob covered such services as America Online, Prodigy and CompuServe as far back as 1995. More recently, he has served in various sales, business/channel development and marketing positions in diverse industries like commercial real estate, promotional products and energy brokerage.
Bob has been on LinkedIn essentially since it started back in 2003. In fact, he was member #74,899; for a network that now numbers in the hundreds of millions, he was essentially a wagon-drivin’, six-shootin’, Westward-ho LinkedIn pioneer.
In many of his jobs, he trained others on how to use LinkedIn and other social platforms for sales and marketing purposes and has used them himself for many years.
Bob heads up Social Sales Link’s MidSouth office in Lexington, KY. He is in charge of further developing the company’s growing portfolio of regional and national accounts, as well as providing coaching and training to SSL’s current and new clients.
